How I use my iPhone X to enhance my
daily life [I’d be lost without it].
It is a little while since I last spoke about how I
am using my iPhone X, what I am using it for
and how it enhance my daily life. The alarm
wakes up fairly in the morning, I use my iPhone
X as my alarm. I usually use my iPhone as my
radio to gently ease me through the day. I hit the
gym, using my iPhone to listen to music and
make a note of ,my gym routine. I grab a
shower, sit back and make myself some
breakfast. I read my emails, check in my
websites and check my online business to see if
I need to provide anyone with assistance, answer
questions, put telephone calls in etc. Again I do
this quite quickly and easily using my iPhone X.
I then check what forthcoming travel plans I
have, check the itinerary, using the United Airlines
app to check in. I use Google keep to keep a tab
of my plans, it stores the booking reference for
hotels, directions, contacts etc. I find Google
Keep an essential app that I use daily. I also use
Google Tasks to help me manage my tasks and
what I need to do and tie it in with a deadline
date. I get great satisfaction at the end of every
day ticking off what I have achieved and what
needs to be thrown over to the next day. I use
Flipboard each day as it collects all my favourite
news stories, favourite social media links and
brings them all together in one place for me to
read. I would say that Flipboard is an essential
app on my iPhone. Throughout the day I will use
Whatsapp to help with my business, it allows me
to speak with my team and I use regularly to
speak with friends and family. I can also make
almost limitless free calls as most of the people
that I know use Whatsapp – again an important
app that I use all the time.
I like to take advantage of the notes app on my
iPhone, it’s an important App, especially useful
for writing editorials or more detailed, in-depth
notes that I need to refer to. Also if need to save
anything I will upload the content to Google
Keep or another important app, Evernote, which I
have been using for years and years. It houses
must important notes, receipts, other essential
pieces of paper and junk that I can not afford to
lose; I simply just take a picture and store it in
Evernote - think of it as a scrapbook.
Other apps I’m using on my iPhone X include
Twitter, it’s a great way to see what’s happening
in the world, I think each and everyone of us has
the reseources to report and react to news
around us. Through the likes of Twitter we have
access to breaking news much more quickly now
then we did five or 10 years ago, and it’s a great
way to really get to the detail of any breaking
news as well as read peoples reaction
responses. Yes it can be graphic, sometimes we
see pictures and read things that make us think
or surprise us, or indeed invoke all sorts of
reactions and emotions, however I think that it
can be a true benefit. And with the likes of
Twitter we are able to carry such a powerful
means of information in our pockets.
Regular readers will know I am a total Patticake,
so I’m always very interested to see what the
weather has in store whether it’s within the near
future or a few days ahead. Are use a great app
called rain radar which gives me a geographical
radar of precipitation within my region I can
zoom out and take a look at how far away the
rain actually is and then I can make a general
regular readers will know I am a total but the
cake, so I’m always very interested to see what
the weather has in store whether it’s with in the
near future or a few days ahead. There is a great
app called Rain Radar which gives me a
geographical radar of precipitation within my
region, I can also zoom out and take a look at
how far away the rain is and then I can make a
general prediction of when it will either rain or
just how soon the rain will pass. Not only does
it help me to prepare it also satisfies my
curiosity in all things weather. I’ll back this up by
utilising yahoo weather and the BBC weather app.
The Weather Channel also has a detailed and
informative app especially when I am overseas.
In terms of updating websites I can do this very
easily using my iPhone, I will use either
Builderall or indeed Tumblr. Build a role has a
website that I can access on my iPhone and I
can use the app for Tumblr. I also access
WordPress, again quite easily from my iPhone. It
is very important that I am able to access an
update clients website using my iPhone and I
tend to also do this as well on my iPad however
that will be covered in a separate editorial. Being
able to update websites on the go is imperative
in what I do so having a iPhone X, using the real
estate of the screen allows me to see a lot more
of the content that I am working on, and it also
allows me to navigate more easily. Yes it may
not offer the same functions as having a desktop
or laptop but when I am mobile or travelling, I
wish to work whenever I am in the world, the
    iPhone is ideal.
On a more light-hearted note I listen to music,
I’m a subscriber to Spotify, I always need my
music with me whenever I’m travelling, I have a
five music is the ideal soundtrack to whatever is
going on in my life. Spotify is I would say one
of, or if not, the most used app on my iPhone
because I am continually listen to music whether
it is piped through my Bluetooth speaker or if I
am just listening to it on my headphones walking
the streets of New York on laying on the beach
in Brazil, Spotify is always playing. An app that I
find very useful is great for identifying music that
I may hear which I want to know more about
sour I want to know the title of it, SoundHound is
ideal. Are used to use Shazam and I was a huge
advocate of this but I find some towns works
best it can also identify music in a crowded
environments when the clarity is not always
clear. Also if somebody singing the tune and we
don’t know the words and I don’t know the title
SoundHound has alway been very good and
identifying what the song actually is.
So I hope this editorial has given you a good
insight into why I use my iPhone X as much as I
do, the situations in which I use it and also
provides a little inspiration how you can utilise
your iPhone or whatever mobile device you
happen to use and integrate it fully in your daily
    life.
To summarise I think I would be more
unorganised if I didn’t use my iPhone. Because
I’m travelling a great deal I need a hub to
accumulate all the information needed to ensure
a smooth journey such as flight tickets,
confirmation numbers etc and carrying scraps of
paper around with me is not ideal and I know
that I would lose a lot of information that would
be valuable to my travelling so having an iPhone
collect all the information is imperative. I also
like to be able to have information at my
fingertips. Whether it’s news, weather, exchange
rates, stocks and shares, the iPhone gives me
that instant information. I’m not having to wait
for the information to be fed to me. It is there -
instantly. So as you can see, yes I would be lost
and having an iPhone is the next best thing to
having a 24/7 assistant with me at all times.

Using my iPhone X in my travel.
So for the last year I’ve been travelling around
the world, seeing some amazing sights,
experiencing wonderful adventures. In all that
time I’ve carried my iPhone with me, it has been
my primary device and at the moment I’m using
an iPhone X and have been for the duration of
that time. I have no plans to upgrade it to
because I am satisfied with my iPhone X, and I
can not justify spending money on a device that
only offers me limited upgrades. I’ll update more
of my thoughts, photographs and continue to
journal how I am using my iPhone X.

[From Eric Mann] Important lesson this
Every few months or years an old hosting service
shuts down or starts charging for previously free
services, often leaving users little or no time to
    recover their data.

[From Hans] If you’re using beta iOS 11 you
may wish to read this. “iOS 11 is packed with
tons of exciting new features, but a common
complaint that users have is the rapid battery
consumption. Many believe this issue is caused
by bugs; but bugs or not, you can still improve
your iPhone’s battery life by tweaking a few
    settings”.
